Course Learning Objectives
1) Identify components of best-practice prescribing for opioid medications.
2) Summarize the CDC and Delaware Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain.
3) Explain various strategies designed to prevent prescription drug misuse and diversion.
4) Describe considerations for the use of the opioid antagonist naloxone.
5) Discuss chemical dependency and impairment in the workplace.
