Sexually Transmitted Diseases Treatment Guidelines is organized by Medical Education Systems (MedEdSys), Inc.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  1. Identify and discuss the five major strategies for the prevention and control of STDs
  2. Explain what is meant by “special populations” and explain the special prevention-control issues they face
  3. Identify and explain the key elements of HIV Infection: Detection, Counseling, and Referral
  4. List and discuss the major STDs that health care professionals have to deal with today
