Nutrition Research Course is organized by Chiropractic Continuing Education.

Overview:
This course will cover research conducted on different areas of nutrition such as diets (Paleolithic diets, ketogenic diets, caloric restriction, high fiber diets) and help to identify what the best type of diet for weight loss may be. The effects of diet on neurocognitive function will also be discussed, the role of Brain Derived Neurotropic Factor (BDNF), including the effects of certain diets on diabetics, and the real efficacy of oral dietary supplements. Other topics include research on the effects of omega 3 Fatty Acids for rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, research on health benefits of vitamin D, multivitamins, vitamin B12, and several others.
