Course Description:
This new resource is intended to help address harmful and underage student drinking. The CollegeAIM (Alcohol Intervention Matrix) guide was developed by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, part of the National Institutes of Health.

The centerpiece of this approach is a comprehensive and easy-to-use matrix-based tool that will help inform professionals about alcohol interventions and guide them to evidence-based interventions. CollegeAIM is the result of a multi-year collaboration and an extensive review of the scientific literature. It is unique in the breadth of research covered by its analysis, and the number and expertise of its contributors.

Learning Objectives:
• Assess the individual- and environmental-level strategies to learn how their current strategies compare to other alternatives
• Explain new evidence-based options for alcohol intervention strategies
• Apply the interactive strategy planning worksheet to help select a combination of approaches that meets the needs of the targeted population
