Description:
This course builds on the principles covered in the Level I: IASTM Fundamentals course. Using a case-study, lab-focused teaching format, advanced treatment strokes are introduced and problem solving skills are emphasized. This course includes the utilization of motion with IASTM and multi-regional treatment concepts. This course also discusses the use of IASTm within different treatment paradigms and the research behind interchangeability of myofascial techniques.
Learning Objectives:
At the completion of this program the participant will be able to:
- Apply advanced IASTM techniques as they apply to common musculoskeletal conditions discussed in class
- Analyze the latest evidence of IASTM treatment paradigms and integrated treatment strategies
- Demonstrate advanced IASTM intervention and tool stroke techniques
- Demonstrate the role of IASTM interventions within a comprehensive treatment approach for common musculoskeletal conditions
