This live training covers common behavioral and psychological symptoms of Alzheimer's dementia (BPSD), including their potential risk factors and triggers, and reviews effective non-pharmacologic strategies for managing these symptoms.
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Describe common behavioral and psychological symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s dementia (BPSD)
2. Summarize potential risk factors and precipitants of BPSD
3. Discuss non-pharmacologic strategies for managing BPSD
