Thoracic Ultrasound Training Programme – Part Two is organized by European Respiratory Society (ERS) and will be held from Dec 02 - 03, 2024.

Description:
This one-and-a-half day course will focus on practical aspects of thoracic ultrasound (TUS) procedures including demonstrations on volunteers, and discussion and interpretation of clinical cases. Each of the six topics will begin with a short overview with selected key elements and pitfalls.

Following the online course, all participants will create a portfolio of ten TUS scans and review five cases from other participants.

Participants who attend the live online course and complete the post-course requirements will be awarded a certification of completion for part two and will be eligible to proceed to part three of the TUS training programme. The next Part 3 – OSCE will take place in September 2025 at the ERS Congress in Amsterdam. ERS Congress registration is not required to attend OSCE.
