The Cirrhotic Liver: A Case-Based Review Course is organized by Unilabs Academy and will be held from Sep 30 - Oct 02, 2026.
Description:
This online liver imaging course provides an interactive, case-based approach to CT and MRI evaluation of the cirrhotic liver. Participants will learn to recognise the imaging features of cirrhosis, differentiate common mimickers, apply the LI-RADS classification, and confidently assess focal liver lesions through real clinical cases.
The programme combines short lectures with interactive case discussions designed to simulate the experience of a multidisciplinary radiology reading room. Carefully selected typical, atypical, and challenging cases will help participants develop a structured diagnostic approach while improving reporting confidence.
Each session includes expert-guided case interpretation, group discussion, concise teaching summaries, and Kahoot quizzes to reinforce key learning points. Participants will also receive access to selected DICOM liver cases before the course for independent review.
Unilabs Academy online radiology courses are held in a virtual classroom environment on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to engage in discussions using their camera and microphone to recreate the face-to-face learning experience.
Within this small-group setting, participants can ask questions, discuss challenging cases, and learn directly from Prof. Giuseppe Brancatelli. Online sessions are recorded so they can be reviewed after the course.
