OVERVIEW

The 4th Annual Bristol and RCR Gynaecology Oncology Course 2027 is organized by The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and will be held from Mar 18 - 19, 2027.

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Bristol Gynaecology Oncology course in 2027! Delivered online over two-days, this popular course offers an invaluable opportunity to enhance your knowledge and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

Hosted by University Hospitals Bristol in collaboration with the Royal College of Radiologists, our multidisciplinary course is designed for clinical oncology consultants and residents, gynaecology specialists, therapeutic radiographers and surgical trainees.

Complex case submission

To maximise your learning, delegates are invited to submit and present complex cases with questions to the faculty. This will form part of the live delegate and panel discussion. Please note that there is an expectation for the delegate to attend and present their submitted case on the day. Submission deadline: Monday 15 March 2027. Please complete your submission using the Presentation template and email it.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Interpret diagnostic imaging to accurately stage gynaecological cancers and support evidence-based treatment decisions.
  2. Develop and justify integrated treatment plans that combine surgery, systemic therapy, radiotherapy, and brachytherapy in alignment with current clinical guidelines.
  3. Apply patient-centred care strategies including PIFU, menopause management, genetic testing and palliative interventions to enhance quality of life.
  4. Critically evaluate emerging evidence and national consensus to lead multidisciplinary team discussions and implement improvements in local clinical practice.

12 CPD points will be awarded on completion of this course. Please note this event will not be available to view on-demand.

*RCR members/Fellows: Fellows,consultants, SAS and specialist doctors: Consultants with an active RCR membership.    

**RCR member trainee & other healthcare professionals: This applies to trainees with an active RCR membership, as well as other healthcare professionals, who will not have an RCR membership, including, radiographers, physicists, SHOs and medical students. 

***RCR members from lower middle income country member registration: A reduced registration fee is available for those who reside in and work in lower- or middle-income country (LMIC) as defined by the World Bank. These rates do not apply if you are originally from one of these countries but are now practising elsewhere. 

****Non-members: participants who don't have an active RCR membership.

Those who actively participate in this event and complete the full learning experience will be entitled to 12 continuous professional development (CPD) credits.

  • Credits have been awarded in line with the GMC guidelines and awarded at the discretion of the event lead.
  • To ensure your allocation of CPD is provided within 10 working days, please complete the post event evaluation which will be sent to you at the end of the event.
  • Each attendee will receive an automated certificate detailing CPD credits once.
