The American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders (APSARD) 2021 Virtual Conference is organized by The American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders (APSARD) and this Online CME course will be held from Jan 15 - 17, 2021.

Description:
The 2021 Annual Meeting will majorly focus on the scientific basis of ADHD and its treatment, which includes tactics and approaches which support improved care and treatment of the patient with ADHD for a complex patient, college-age patient, as well as ADHD in diverse populations. The meeting will provide clinicians with specific, practical information for appropriate diagnosis, assessment and treatment of ADHD in diverse settings and populations.Most significantly, the scientific basis that underlies the diagnostic and treatment approaches advocated are going to be highlighted. We welcome your participation and support.

Learning Objectives:
• The COVID-19 crisis has introduced major stress for people with ADHD and its related disorders across many settings: home, school, and the workplace. We seek submissions that will clearly address the impact of COVID-19 on individuals and also families with ADHD and which will present innovative methods of treatment that are helpful during this pandemic. Submissions addressing how the pandemic will ultimately impact the care of individuals with ADHD are encouraged.
• There are important ongoing dialogues in our country and worldwide regarding issues associated with racism, racial disparities and related access to worry. COVID-19 has disproportionately affected disadvantaged communities and to disparities in many social determinants of health. But these issues extend well beyond COVID-19 and pose important issues associated with health care generally , and care of people and families with ADHD, especially. APSARD seeks proposals which will address critical issues during this area.
