Course description:
Underlying diseases and medications can affect an individual's cognitive functioning in different ways, which in turn affects both performance and safety in a workplace. The focus during the course will be on conditions and treatments that we often encounter in our patients in occupational health care.

The working population is treated with many different medications. Regardless of whether they are administered by occupational health care or elsewhere, both the medications and the underlying diseases affect the individual's functional ability in different ways. Effects on cognition can in turn affect both performance and safety in a workplace. The focus will be on conditions and treatments that we often encounter in our patients in occupational health care.
