Psychopharmacology Update: 2024 is organized by Maryland Psychiatric Society, Inc. (MPS) and will be held on Nov 14, 2024.

Objectives: 
At the conclusion of the activity participants will be able to:

  • Highlight both current and emerging pharmacologic strategies in the treatment of all common sleep disorders, ranging from insomnia to hypersomnia, and even sleep-disordered breathing.
  • Describe the DSM-5 diagnosis of Gambling Disorder, screening tools, treatments and services available in Maryland
  • Understand ongoing clinical research in the psychedelic medicine, psilocybin, and considerations for future clinical use
