PBI Medical Ethics and Professionalism (ME- 15 Extended) Course is organized by Professional Boundaries Education and will be held on Aug 27, 2022.

Their courses are multidisciplinary and are suitable to all healthcare professionals, which includes among others nurses, physicians dentists, pharmacists, chiropractors, veterinarians and assistants, mental health practitioners EMT's, physical therapists and students and trainees. The course could be altered to meet the needs of attorneys.
Description:
They medical ethics and professionalism (ME-15) One-day course is a simplified version of our two-day intensive ethics course. This course addresses and addresses issues that arise from non-observance of the rules, laws, guidelines or codes. A lot of clinicians who took this course did not understand the intricate details of the legal and regulatory obligations of their professional responsibilities. Through an extensive pre-course, participants learn about these professional obligations, and start self-assessment.

The participants arrive at the seminar ready to analyze their actions. They will discover how they came to where they are and why they're accountable. After the class, they will design their Personal Protection Plan(c) which will increase accountability to avoid the recurrence of crime.

ME-15 Extended:
• 7.5 hours of pre-course assignments
• One day course
• 12 hour post-course faculty-led group conference calls (MAS). One hour, weekly for 12 weeks

Learning Objectives:
• Observe the standards of code of ethics and practice.
• Enhance clinical decision-making by limiting negative influences
• abide by professional ethics, which results in improvement in the interaction between professional and patient that can enhance the clinical outcomes
• Reduce the possibility of transgressions through the creation of systems that are put into the clinical environment
Be aware of early warning signs of ethical dilemmas and boundary issues
• Design an ethical Formula(c) and create an echelon Personalized Protection Plan to maintain the integrity of your business.
