Patient deterioration national virtual hui - let’s celebrate our achievement is organized by Health Quality & Safety Commission New Zealand and will be held on Jun 17, 2021.

Target Audience:
The main attendees will be clinical staff (medical, nursing, midwifery) and other health professional that maybe involved in the care of deteriorating hospital patients. We also welcome consumers and wh?nau interested in patient deterioration.

Description:
Join us in celebrating the work and achievements of the hospital sector to improve their recognition and response systems since 2016.

During the hui, you will hear how hospitals have strengthened their systems through using clinical tools, establishing K?rero mai and supporting clincians, patients and wh?nau with shared goals of care discussions. We’ll also be exploring the role of nurse-led outreach teams and how the maternity early warning system has made improvements to the care of pregnant or recently pregnant women.

Note: This hui will be held online for one day using our OnAir virtual event platform.
