Online Professional Training Program in Mind-Body Medicine is organized by The Center for Mind-Body Medicine (CMBM) and will be held from Oct 01 - 06, 2026.

Description:
This evidence-based, transformational training gives you the science and tools you need to make mind-body medicine an integral, foundational part of your practice and your life. It is the first step in becoming certified by one of the world’s premier programs in comprehensive self-care and group support.

Participants will attend lectures on the latest research in mind-body medicine and experience CMBM’s pioneering Mind-Body Skills Groups. In these groups, they will practice a variety of techniques to reduce stress and enhance self-awareness, to mobilize their imagination and intuition, and to develop their capacity for self-care. They will, as well, share what they have learned with and learn from one another.

What You Will Learn:

  • Make evidence-based mind-body techniques, including several forms of meditation, guided imagery, biofeedback, written dialogues, and genograms an integral part of your life and your practice.
  • Experience self-expression in words, drawings, and movement, and learn to use these creative approaches with others.

CEU Information & Evaluation:
Professional Continuing Education Credits for CMBM’s Professional Training in Mind-Body Medicine are awarded by Allegany College of Maryland for Human Service Professionals.

Completing the full program as verified by CMBM and submitting an additional evaluation is required for your certificate to be emailed.

It is the responsibility of the participant to ascertain whether this program is within the scope of practice of their profession as determined by their regulatory body.

Continuing Education Units are approved as follows:
Addictions Counselors:
Allegany College of Maryland has been approved by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a sponsor of Continuing Education. This program has been approved for 30 Category A hours for Addiction counselors.

Professional Counselors:
Allegany College of Maryland has been approved by the Maryland State Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a sponsor of Continuing Education.  This program has been approved for 30 Category A continuing education requirements.

Psychologists:
Allegany College of Maryland is authorized by the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a sponsor of Continuing Education. This training qualified for 30 Category A Contact Hours for Psychologists.

Social Workers:
Allegany College of Maryland is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education programs and maintains full responsibility for this program. This training qualifies for 20 Category I continuing education units. Live, interactive, real-time.
