MSK CME Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training Program - Fall 2020 is organized by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). This live online course will be held as a fully web-based training program from Tuesday-Friday, November 10-13, 2020.

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
AMA Credit Designation Statement:
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 29.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Social Work Accreditation Statement:
This presentation is approved for a maximum of twenty eight point seven five (28.75) Continuing Education Contact Hours of Live In-Person Training. Overview:
Tobacco Treatment Specialists (TTS’s) are healthcare professionals who possess the skills, knowledge, and training to provide effective, evidence-based interventions for tobacco dependence across a range of treatment intensities, in varying contexts, treatment modalities, and with different tobacco using populations.
The MSK 4-day Tobacco Treatment Specialist Live Virtual Training Program is designed to train multidisciplinary clinicians who work in various healthcare and community settings including primary care, behavioral health, addictions and rehabilitation settings, public housing, oncology settings, specialty medical care (e.g. pulmonary medicine, cardiology, oncology), and worksite wellness settings.
Upon completion, participants will receive a training certificate, which makes them eligible for the National Certificate in Tobacco Treatment Practice (NCTTP), recognizing expertise in tobacco treatment delivery.

Note: This program will take place as a live virtual training. We do ask that all registered attendees have access to a computer with a webcam as this training is highly interactive. The training instructors will ask for attendee participation throughout lectures and group training activities. Additional pre-training instructions, including how to access the live virtual program, will be emailed to all attendees prior to the start of the program.
