OVERVIEW

Medical Emergencies in Pregnancy 2025 is organized by Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) and will be held on Sep 09, 2025.

As medical comorbidities in pregnancy become increasingly common, the need for up-skilling in Obstetric Medicine is vital —ensuring that pregnant patients with acute or long-term conditions receive safe, effective and evidence-based care.
This half-day online conference offers a practical and up-to-date overview for healthcare professionals across the world who are involved in the care of pregnant patients who present with medical problems. Designed for a broad audience—including doctors, nurses, midwives and students—the programme will explore both common and critical presentations across a range of specialties.

Sessions will include:

  • What is “normal” in pregnancy: physiology, investigations, prescribing and reliable information sources
