Improving MRI Reporting Accuracy for Degenerative Lumbar Spine Course is organized by Unilabs Academy and will be held from Dec 15 - 17, 2026.

Description:
This online fellowship focuses on improving the accuracy and consistency of lumbar spine MRI reporting, addressing common sources of variability in terminology, interpretation, and structured reporting.

Through a highly interactive, case-based format, participants will review real-life lumbar spine cases using the Lumbar Spine Image Reporting Simulator, allowing direct comparison between initial interpretations and expert-reviewed findings. Immediate feedback is provided by faculty involved in the design of the programme.

The course emphasizes the importance of standardized reporting systems to reduce subjectivity, improve diagnostic agreement, and enhance communication between radiologists and referring clinicians. Participants will progressively refine their ability to evaluate degenerative spine pathology in a structured and reproducible way.

Unilabs Academy online radiology courses are held in a virtual classroom environment on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to engage actively in discussions using their camera and microphone to recreate a face-to-face learning experience.

In this small-group environment, participants are encouraged to ask questions, test their reasoning, and improve their reporting skills with expert guidance. Sessions are recorded for later review.

Differentiate disc pathologies including protrusions, extrusions, and sequestrations.
Recognize and classify spondylolisthesis and degenerative spinal changes.
