Learning objectives:
After watching this webinar, participants will understand:
• the clinical impact of lifelong exposure to elevated lipid levels;
• the importance of comorbidities for risk prediction;
• the clinical relevance of lipids beyond LDL-cholesterol [triglycerides, HDL-C, lipoprotein(a)];
• the efficacy and limitations of nutrition and other lifestyle interventions to lower LDL;
• when and how to implement medical treatment for LDL reduction and additional lipid disorders; and
• the possible use of telemedicine.
