OVERVIEW

HOBSCOTCH Cognitive Coach Training is organized by Dartmouth Health and will be held from Sep 29 - 30, 2026.

Overview:
HOBSCOTCH Cognitive Coach Certification is designed to prepare learners to deliver home based self-management and cognitive training to epilepsy patients who have cognitive challenges. Problem solving therapy, compensatory memory strategies and self-awareness exercises are key educational components. Didactic lectures, video demonstration and supervised role-playing allow learners to acquire the knowledge and skill set required to deliver the intervention to patients.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss at least three examples of lessons learned that will enhance the delivery of home-based self-management, including cognitive training, to patients with epilepsy.
