Aim: To provide a roadmap for navigating nuclear medicine imaging research regulatory applications in England
Tuesday 10th December 2024 - Dr Maggie Cooper, The challenges of producing radiopharmaceuticals for research trials
Aim: To understand what validation is required to enable a new radiopharmaceutical to be manufactured for clinical trials
Tuesday 14th January 2025 - Prof Jane Sosabowski, Implementation of new radionuclides in clinical trials in the UK
Tuesday 11th February 2025 - Dr Ian Newington, NIHR Funding for Clinical Trials and Studies in MRT
Aim: To provide an overview of the funding and support available from NIHR that could support research studies in MRT
Tuesday 11th March 2025 - Dr Juliana Maynard, Working Strategically across research councils to ensure collaboration at a national level
Aim: To give listeners and understanding of the benefits of cross council partnership working, and their capacity to evaluate, which leads to partnership effectiveness
Tuesday 8th April 2025 - Dr Jennifer Young, The journey of radiopharmaceuticals from clinical trials to NHS commissioning
Aim: To provide information about the stages or radiopahracetuical development and the evidence required for NHS commissioning
Tuesday 13th May 2025 - Prof Jonathan Wadsley, Experience of leading a multi-centre MRT trial
Aim: To consider the challenges and learning from leading a multicentre UK study employing standardised MRT dosimetry using the SELIMETRY trial as an example
Educational aim: To provide practical advice on the topic of setting up and managing successful clinical trials
