Description:
The purpose of this course is to provide case study references and examples of intervention to support the knowledge learned in part 1 of this series. Case studies will be presented throughout lecture, pictures, and videos for different ages and populations impacted by picky eating and the presenter will discuss assessment and intervention while showing visuals of the actual treatment. Course instruction methods include lecture, demonstration, case studies, question/answers.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to

  • Identify and implement at least 3 specific interventions to support picky eating.
  • Name at least 3 tips to provide parent/caregiver education and training to support home program implementation of therapy strategies for picky eater.
  • Describe techniques to provide a more comprehensive approach to assessment and treatment of picky eaters in an outpatient pediatric therapy setting.
