OVERVIEW

41st Annual Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CACAP) Virtual Conference is organized by Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CACAP) / Academie Canadienne de Psychiateie de L'enfant et de L'adolescent (ACPEA) and will be held from Sep 11 - 14, 2021.

Conference Theme:
Our 2021 conference theme is, “Child and Adolescent Psychiatry: A Global Perspective”. 

Conference Objectives:
They hope that at the end of the 2021 virtual conference our attendees will have met the following learning objectives: 
• Review up-to-date knowledge on major risk factors in child and youth mental health, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on these factors; 
• Appraise strategies to manage risk and minimize negative outcomes for patients and families; 
• Outline different approaches to virtual care and psychiatric management developed since the COVID-19 outbreak.
