2025 International DIRFloortime Conference is organized by The Interdisciplinary Council on Development and Learning, Inc. (ICDL) and will be held from Oct 19 - 28, 2025.

Description:
Through lectures, case studies, research reviews, and discussions, participants will have many opportunities throughout the 10 days to deepen their understanding of DIRFloortime and how to effectively promote development, in particular for individuals on the autism spectrum or with other neurodevelopmental differences and/or disabilities.

Learning Objectives:

Describe how a developmental, individual-difference, and relationship-based approach is utilized in various cultural contexts to support development across the lifespan in a strengths-based way.
Identify at least 2 ways that a developmental understanding based on FEDCs contributes to meaningful relationships.
Explain the importance of the transdisciplinary nature of DIR and describe at least two strategies that can be used across a variety of disciplines to support an individual’s development.
Describe ways that DIRFloortime Coaching supports development at home, at school, and in other practice settings.
