2021 American School Health Association (ASHA) Virtual Conference is organized by American School Health Association (ASHA) and will be held from Jul 19 - 21, 2021.

Audience:
Elementary to post-secondary educators, principals and school board members, school nurses, social workers, counselors, government program associates, school-based health center leadership, and school health experts from across the nation with interest/expertise in early childhood and child health, obesity prevention, immunizations, coordinated school health, and public health.

Description:
There will be high-quality professional development, dynamic speakers, and cutting-edge research. It will focus on an exploration of the impacts of COVID-19 on student and staff health and well-being and how we can work together to ensure student success.

Day 1 will kick off with a keynote to energize and motivate us to work together and maximize impact on student health and learning. The day will also include sessions on school health research, advocacy, and a convening of state leaders. We will also recognize the leaders and contributors to the field of school health in our awards ceremony. We’ll end the day with an opportunity to connect and network.

Day 2 will kick off with opening remarks to set the stage for a panel discussion of the return to school and efforts to work together to provide a safe and supportive learning environment. We’ll follow this with an opportunity to explore tailored solutions through a World Café. Again, we’ll end the day with an opportunity to connect and network.

Day 3 will include sessions examining the inequities exacerbated by COVID-19 on student and staff health and provide tools for overcoming and making up for lost time. We’ll close the conference with a closing keynote and a renewed sense of purpose, excitement, and energy.
