Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO) 2021 Virtual Scientific Meeting is organized by the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO) / Association Canadienne de Radio-Oncologie (ACRO) and will be held from Sep 29 - Oct 01, 2021.

Description:
Their title is Transforming Care in Radiation Medicine: Lessons from 2020 and conference objectives are:
• To discuss the role of virtual methods in cancer care and education, now and in the future.
• Demonstrate an understanding of pathways to optimizing equity and social justice in cancer care.
• Describe strategies for provider wellness and resilience in the practice of radiation medicine.
• Consider the lessons from the rapid deployment of COVID-19 practice changes on workflows, wait times and patient/staff experience.

The main meeting will run from September 29-October 1, 2021 (Wednesday to Friday) with a few offspring sessions around that time, for instance, the Women in Radiation Oncology Session will be held on Tuesday September 28th from 12:30-1:30 pm ET and the Education Sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 5, Wednesday October 6 and Thursday October 7, 2021 from 12:30-1:30 pm ET.
