  • Describe the most common causes of anal stenosis, including post-hemorrhoidectomy and other less common etiologies such as Crohn's disease and radiation therapy.
  • Discuss the differences between nonoperative and surgical management strategies for anal stenosis based on severity and etiology, including when to use conservative therapies, mechanical dilation, or specific surgical flaps
  • Identify ways to reduce the risk of postoperative anal stenosis.
