How to Set Up a Departmental Comparative Effectiveness Research Unit: One Department’s Experience is organized by American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) and will be held during Feb 22, 2014 - Feb 21, 2020.

The target audience for this medical event is readers of the AJR, radiologists, radiologists-in-training, and other health professionals with an interest in comparative effectiveness research. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Objectives are :
• Define comparative effectiveness research and describe its purpose;
• Describe at least two ways to identify potential comparative effectiveness research studies; and
• Describe at least three obstacles that institutions may encounter when pursuing comparative effectiveness research.
