Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the article by van Vliet et al, the participant should be able to:
• State the prevalence of moderate or worse hearing impairment in this study’s cohort of patients with myotonic dystrophy type 2 (DM2)
• Discuss how results of audiometry and other testing aid in the localization of hearing loss in patients with DM2
• Describe the results of speech recognition testing in patients with DM2 in this study, and how this was associated with results of tone audiometry
