Description:
In this journal-based CME activity, you will review the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of common deformities of the lesser toes by following an evolving patient case scenario based on a recent article from the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (JAAOS). After the reading, you will complete an assessment to test your orthopaedic knowledge, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills.

Learning Objectives:
• Discuss the normal anatomy and biomechanics of the lesser toes.
• Describe the pathoanatomy of common lesser toe deformities.
• Summarize nonsurgical and surgical treatment options for the management of common lesser toe deformities.
• Review techniques for, pearls and pitfalls of, and outcomes of the surgical management of common lesser toe deformities.
