Journal Club: GEM No. 606 Yumbox: A Tool to Improve the Quality of Preschoolers’ Packed Lunches is organized by Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior (SNEB) and will be held on Nov 07, 2023.

Description:
Findings of the Yumbox Pilot Program will be presented. This program distributed Yumbox, a bento-style lunchbox with sections labeled for MyPlate, to preschool parents and caretakers, leveraging visibility principles Behavioral Economics Theory to encourage them to pack more nutritious foods for lunch. Lunches of this preschool were compared to a similar control preschool to evaluate the effectiveness of the Yumbox in improving the nutrition of packed lunches.
