Summary:
This self-instructional activity is specifically designed for physicians and allied health care professionals who are involved in patient care. This self-instructional course reviews how to recognize signs of human trafficking during a patient encounter and discusses the appropriate interventions to assist those who may be experiencing human trafficking. This monograph also includes key references as well as a post test that may be completed by participants wishing to receive CME credit for this study.

This course fulfills the Human Trafficking CME requirement for Florida licensed physicians.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this self-study, healthcare providers should be able to:

Illustrate the incidence and prevalence of human trafficking
Identify and assess suspected human trafficking
Recognize characteristics of traffickers
