Clinical and Forensic Issues in the Treatment of Physicians: March 2025 is organized by Healio.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Become familiar with approaches to managing impaired physicians, including early intervention, fitness for duty evaluations, disability determinations, and the associated clinical, ethical, and legal considerations.
  2. Understand common mental health concerns of medical students and residents and recommended approaches to address common concerns.
  3. Identify the nuances of clinicians treating impaired physicians including common presentations and mandated reporting.
  4. Describe organizational approaches to identifying potentially impaired physicians, evaluating these concerns, supporting physicians with disabilities, and supporting wellness to prevent impairment.

This accredited CE activity is primarily targeted to patient-caring physicians, physician assistants (PAs), and nurses specializing in psychiatry.
