Advances in the applications, technologies and methodologies of radiation oncology continue to evolve rapidly, and the delivery of radiation therapy has become more complex, making it imperative that radiation oncology professionals remain current on the state-of-the-art techniques. The Annual Radiation Oncology Symposium - Best of is a CME-accredited educational course which will provide attendees with a review of potentially practice-changing studies presented at major national meetings and published in high-impact journals over the past year. This course will review the latest innovations, updates in standards of care, and treatment modalities in radiation oncology. This includes the newest developments in treating the following cancers: genitourinary, head & neck, central nervous system, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, breast, thoracic, pediatric, and lymphoma/sarcoma. This half-day, high-yield course brings together leading experts from the University of Maryland’s nationally ranked faculty and physicians from institutions across the U.S. who will impart their expertise on future, well-practiced radiation oncologists.
