Learning Objectives:
The learning objectives of the Conference are to train medical professionals, allied health professionals and clinical researchers so that they are better equipped to handle the growing epidemic of musculoskeletal diseases. The programme provides a concise and practical overview of these diseases with a focus on the latest advances in their prevention, diagnosis and treatment. In addition to the presentation of the latest regional research, the programme includes sessions on current topics of specific clinical relevance to health professionals in the region and on advances related to primary and secondary fracture prevention, bone nutrition, and Fracture Liaison Service development.
Accreditations for Conference Participation
Credits will be awarded by the following national societies to their respective members who attend the 2025 IOF Asia Pacific Bone Health Conference in Tokyo. Each society sets its own conditions for awarding credits. Attendees who wish to apply must contact and submit their applications directly to the relevant national society.
Japan Osteoporosis Society (JOS)
JOS will award the credits to its members based on the following criteria:
Taiwanese Osteoporosis Association (TOA)
TOA will award 20 points its members who attend the IOF Asia Pacific Bone Health Conference in Tokyo in Tokyo. These points may be used to apply for certification as an Osteoporosis Specialist (骨鬆專科醫師), as recognised by TOA. Applicants must contact TOA after the event to proceed with the application.
Hong Kong College of Physicians (HKCP)
Retrospective application for CME accreditation of attendance at the IOF Asia Pacific Bone Health Conference in Tokyo is allowed, provided that the application is submitted to HKCP Secretariat no later than 2 weeks after the end of the event.
