Join us for the Graston Technique® Essential Training, a comprehensive workshop designed to introduce healthcare professionals to the Graston Technique® (GT) therapy, a leading instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) technique. This full-day training will provide hands-on learning and education on the foundational principles and practices of GT, enabling participants to enhance their clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.

  • Foundational Training: Gain in-depth knowledge of the Graston Technique® therapy principles, instrument application, and treatment protocols.
  • Hands-On Experience: Practice using the GT instruments in a supervised setting with direct feedback from an expert instructor.
  • Clinical Applications: Learn how to integrate GT therapy into your practice to treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions effectively.

Overview:
The objective of Essential Training is to introduce students and clinicians to GT therapy, its clinical applications, physiological effects/benefits, and potential contraindications. As a result, GT Providers can effectively treat the adverse effects of scar tissue and fascial restrictions as well as improve and maintain optimal range of motion.

By the end of the training, you will be able to:

  • Identify and discuss the indications, contraindications (relative and absolute) of GT.
  • Review and develop a better understanding of soft tissue injury, healing and potential reactivity to instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (therapeutic and adverse).
  • Develop skill and competence in the GT application of IASTM to the major regions of soft tissue.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Graston Technique© brand instruments, GT treatments, potential effects, and benefits.
