45th Annual Diagnostic Imaging is organized by Penn Medicine - Department of Radiology and will be held from Jun 29 - Jul 02, 2025 at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina - Luxury Connecticut Oceanside Hotel, Old Saybrook, Connecticut, United States of America.

Description:
This four-day course will provide tips for improving diagnostic skills in interpreting a wide range of commonly performed abdominal imaging exams. Our subspecialty faculty brings you their insights and expertise for analyzing hepatic and biliary MRI, gynecological sonography, renal and prostate MRI, thyroid sonography, and CT and MR of the gastrointestinal tract. Each presentation was chosen to highlight imaging pitfalls and provide participants with practical tips they can immediately incorporate into their practice.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Effectively utilize diagnostic imaging modalities to evaluate hepatic, biliary, gastrointestinal, renal, gynecological, genitourinary, and thyroid pathology
  • Provide a full range of differential diagnoses for hepatic, biliary, gastrointestinal, renal, gynecological, genitourinary, and thyroid disorders
  • Integrate appropriate imaging protocols to assess hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal, renal, gynecological, and genitourinary disorders into clinical practice
  • Recognize the appearance of complications following abdominal surgery and treatment for prostate carcinoma

    CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

    In-person cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2025, will receive a full refund, less a $100 administrative fee. Refund requests must be in writing and submitted via email.

    Live Stream cancellation, a full refund for the course enrollment fee, less a $35 administrative fee, may be made up to one week before the first day of the course.

    Penn Medicine's Department of Radiology reserves the right to cancel or postpone any activity due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement, Penn Radiology will refund registration fees but will not be responsible for related costs or expenses to participants, including cancellation fees assessed by airlines, travel agencies, and hotels.
