Types of GI Cancer:
Gastrointestinal cancers represent a heterogeneous group of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Gastrointestinal cancers are diverse in etiology and clinical management. Treatment modalities may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. The most common types of gastrointestinal cancers are as follows:

• Esophageal cancer
• Gastric (stomach) cancer
• Colorectal cancer
• Pancreatic cancer
• Liver cancer
• Cholangiocarcinoma
