Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Identify the latest management strategies for select solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, based on recent FDA approvals and practice guideline updates
Assess the clinical relevance of efficacy and safety data from recently published studies of cancer therapies - Recognize and manage adverse events (AEs) associated with newer systemic therapies to ensure patient safety and treatment adherence
- Apply collaborative approaches to patient-centered care in order to improve the quality of life of patients undergoing cancer treatment
- Analyze the role of surgical oncology in the context of multimodal treatment strategies to optimize disease control and survival outcomes
