Academy for Professionalism in Health Care (APHC) 10th Annual Meeting is organized by Academy for Professionalism in Health Care (APHC) and will be held from Jun 01 - 03, 2022 at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

Description:
APHC is an inclusive organization which welcomes all professionals and their trainees who are devoted to the study and advancement of professionalism in health-related fields. The upcoming conference will focus on how health care is adapting its practice, teaching, assessment and research of professionalism based on local, national and global health care changes. While it is critical to develop individual professional identities, it is also important to grow team and interprofessional identities. Blending and unifying professional values is challenging, yet necessary to optimize interprofessional teams that can function to the ultimate benefit of patients and communities.

While we hope to explore team-based professionalism in depth, this will also be our annual conference and an opportunity to take a broader look at what work is being done regarding professionalism theory and practice, education and research. Thus, we also welcome proposals that can help move the field forward, even if they are outside of our specific conference theme. Since we will also celebrate the 10-year anniversary of APHC, presentations that showcase the Academy’s activities and accomplishments will be equally considered. To help us move towards the next 10 years, trainee proposals will receive special attention and are strongly encouraged!
