Statement of Need:
This course will provide cutting-edge information on the most relevant and common conditions seen in the inpatient setting. The targeted learners for this course include hospital medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, family practice physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, fellows, residents, and other healthcare professionals interested in hospital-based medicine.

Learning Objectives:
After participating in this activity clinicians should be able to:
• Evaluate the current state of sepsis recognition and treatment, based on widely-accepted published guidelines.
• Determine treatment options for common conditions seen in the geriatric population.
• Evaluate key updates & current literature related to the modern practice of hospital medicine, including cancer, cardiology, nephrology, rheumatology, and pulmonology.
