The Educational Symposia (ESI) is organizing the 3rd Annual Top Teachers in Head, Neck, Brain, and Spine Imaging, and the event takes place From Feb 10 to Feb 12, 2022, at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida, United States of America.
Target Audience:
In this CME program, you will learn about the fundamentals of head and neck imaging, brain imaging, and spinal imaging, and also advanced topics that will become more important in clinical practice as the years go by, and that's also the main purpose. Anatomy, inflammation, and neoplasia of the suprahyoid and infrahyoid necks, as well as the aerodigestive tract, will be covered in the head and neck programming, which will also include subjects in orbital and skull base imaging.
Overview:
In this CME program, you will learn about the fundamentals of head and neck imaging, brain imaging, and spinal imaging, and also advanced topics that will become more important in clinical practice as the years go by. The head and neck programming will address anatomy, inflammation, and neoplasia of the suprahyoid and infrahyoid necks, as well as issues in orbital and skull base imaging. The lectures on brain disorders will cover tumors, white matter disorders, and both traumatic and nontraumatic emergency cases, while those on spine disorders will cover degenerative, neoplastic, and traumatic pathology. Each session will cover imaging techniques, normal anatomy, and common disease, with a focus on how imaging findings influence patient care. Frequently overlooked diagnosis and error-prevention techniques will also be discussed. To reinforce didactic material, case-based review sessions have been included.
Educational Objectives:
After completing this course, participants should be able to:
• Enhance your knowledge about normal anatomy and pathology of the suprahyoid and infrahyoid necks..
• Identify the relevant findings in upper aerodigestive tract malignancies both pre- and post-operatively.
• Learn more about the types and their features of infectious and neoplastic processes of the brain and spine.
• Describe both traumatic and non-traumatic emergencies of the brain, spine and head & neck.
• Identify and discuss evolving stroke imaging techniques prior to treatment.
• Identify spine degenerative diseases and lumbar puncture techniques that are appropriate for image-guided lumbar punctures.
