American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) / International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) Scientific Meeting 2022 is organized by International Urogynecological Association (IUGA), American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and will be held from Jun 14 - 18, 2022 at Austin Convention Center, Austin, Texas, United States of America.

Target Audience:
This activity is intended for all surgeons and healthcare professionals who are involved in the treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders.

Description:
The American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and International Urogynecological Association (IUGA) 2022 Scientific Meeting will serve as the year’s largest venue for those in the field of urogynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to come together for education, networking and sharing.

Overall Education Objectives:
• Identify risk factors, epidemiology, and impact on quality of life of pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and sexual dysfunction.
• Describe indications and methods for uterine preservations during prolapse surgery.
• Manage pelvic organ prolapse using a variety of non-surgical and surgical techniques including pelvic floor muscle training, pessaries, and surgery.
• Manage urinary incontinence using a variety of non-surgical and surgical techniques including topical hormones, medical therapy, pelvic floor muscle training, office procedures and surgery.
• Manage bowel incontinence using a variety of non-surgical and surgical techniques including medical therapy, pelvic floor muscle training, office procedures and surgery.
• Describe pelvic floor anatomy and how to avoid, minimize and manage complications of pelvic surgery.
• Define the available technology to assess pelvic floor function/ dysfunction and its role in clinical care and research.
• Define the novel basic science approaches to the study and treatment of pelvic floor disorders.
