Pediatrics by the Sea Hybrid Meeting is organized by American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Georgia Chapter and will be held from Jul 22 - 24, 2021 at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, Florida, United States of America.

Who Should Attend:
Pediatrics by the Sea is open to all pediatricians, residents, pediatric nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, family physicians, medical students, and other child healthcare professionals.

Accreditation:
CME Information
The American Academy of Pediatrics – Georgia Chapter is accredited by the Medical Association of Georgia to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The American Academy of Pediatrics – Georgia Chapter designates this other activity (both live and internet) for a maximum of 11.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
An application will be submitted to the American Board of Pediatrics to request MOC Part 2 Lifelong Learning Self-Assessment credit. Registered physician attendees will receive MOC Part 2 assessment at the conclusion of the conference. Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatrics who score an 80 percent or higher on the assessment will receive MOC Part 2 points.

Pediatrics by the Sea, our summer CME conference, is a great opportunity to come to the beach to re-connect with your colleagues, refresh your knowledge & recharge with your family! This year’s meeting will be held as a hybrid meeting, both in-person and virtual. You can attend from your hotel room, balcony, home, anywhere! In-person attendance will be limited this year due to social distancing protocols.

Conference Educational Goals
The Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (Georgia AAP) Continuing Medical Education (CME) program aims to develop, maintain, and improve the competence, skills, and professional performance of pediatricians and pediatric healthcare professionals. Pediatrics by the Sea strives to meet participants identified educational needs and support their life-long learning by providing quality, relevant, accessible, and effective educational experiences that address gaps in professional practice and improve patient outcomes.
