2027 Perinatal Medicine Conference is organized by Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) and will be held from Feb 08 - 11, 2027 at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, Lahaina, Hawaii, United States of America.

Description:
This course offers a review of important and timely topics in the field of perinatal medicine. Based on a review of the literature, input from our own expert faculty, and analyses from past conferences, we are proud to offer a comprehensive program with topics that include: evidence-based guidelines and standardized safety principles for managing hepatitis and other infections in pregnancy; updates in the use of cell-free fetal DNA testing; management of fetal growth restriction; effective management of diabetes. In addition, evidence is examined to set a practical, clinical approach to diagnosis and treatment of venous thromboembolism in pregnancy and management of glycemic control in labor. Valuable insights will be provided into various hypertensive conditions in pregnancy and postpartum. Lectures by faculty from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and distinguished guest faculty from Johns Hopkins University and Ascension Health will outline controversies, discuss recent developments, and suggest recommendations. Participants have direct access to the speakers and ample opportunity for intensive question and answer post-lecture discussions.

• Construct a practical algorithm for the management of hepatitis and syphilis in pregnancy.
• Describe strategies to recognize and treat infectious diseases in pregnancy.
