Nursing department budgets will be discussed and hands-on practice of developing a staffing model used in budgeting. This program will also cover how the facility is reimbursed and the role of the Nurse Leader in QAPI and survey. It outlines the responsibilities of the DON role. This course will prepare the Nurse Leader to take the CDONA board certification exam as well as introduce and refresh nurse leaders in all of these topics.
