Objectives:

• Provide basic knowledge required for safe use of laparoscopic surgery
• Describe all technical (instruments, trocars, energy sources…) and physiological principles of laparoscopic surgery
• Critically review the most common laparoscopic surgical procedures
• Enhance laparoscopic skills through repeated practice of suturing, knot-tying, and performing surgical procedures during hands-on sessions
