Course Description:
Continuing Care Course on Advanced Applications Course

Course Objective:
The Doctor will learn advanced topics, including the importance of occlusal adjustment prior to LPT, controlling bleeding during the first pass, biostimulation, and integration of LPT into the Doctor’s practice.

Prerequisite:
Successful completion of POST course. Rationale – Doctor must demonstrate standard proficiency in the use of the pulsed Nd:YAG laser during LPT prior to undertaking this intermediate course. Application of topics in this course also requires a strong foundation in the theoretical use of lasers in dentistry, as taught in course LASER.
