AO Trauma Course—Fractures Around the Femur (With Human Anatomical Specimens) is organized by AO Trauma and will be held from Jun 02 - 04, 2026 at Prague, Prague, Czech Republic.

Description:
A combination of evidence-based lectures, small-group case discussions, and dissection and fixation procedures on anatomical specimens will be used to deliver the content to improve knowledge and skills in the key surgical techniques and in related care. Active engagement by all participants is critical to the effective delivery of this educational event.

Goal:
Participants will learn the current management of patient problems related to trauma of the lower limb. Fractures from the Femur will be covered as well as joint injuries and dislocations and soft tissue injuries (the acute trauma phase and the posttraumatic sequelae such as malunion, nonunion, infection, etc).

Objectives:
Orthopedic and trauma surgeons with at least 3 years of post-residency experience who want to develop expertise in lower extremity fracture care or surgeons with many years of experience who want to update their knowledge. Participants should also have completed the AOTrauma Course—Advanced Principles of Fracture Management.
