The current format includes one morning of theoretical lectures, followed by three half-days of dissection labs. Initially focused solely on ovarian surgery, our scope has since broadened to include the surgical anatomy relevant to various gynecologic oncology procedures. With the upcoming course, we are excited to welcome Professor Michael Hoeckel to our faculty. Professor Hoeckel is widely recognized for his theories on ontogenetic anatomy and his expertise in teaching complex pelvic wall surgery through anatomical dissection. This course will provide an in-depth exploration of the abdominal-pelvic cavity, allowing participants to study and memorize key anatomical structures, while linking them directly to surgical techniques essential for our field.
